I've read enough art commentary to know that people want to know if artists who paint abstract art have studied the fundamentals first. I had the privilege of receiving an excellent education in art at first Millbrook School, a preparatory boarding school and then Syracuse University.
My first year at Syracuse was in the Architexture School after which I transferred to the School of Visual and Performing Arts where I received my BFA. As I had to start over in art school as the foundation years were different, I can safely say that I had all of the foundational studies possible before finding my groove. You can see examples above for some of the 2d work I created. Sadly I have lost my old portfolios of slides and have no record of anything else 2d, or any of the sculptural 3d work.
